Quick Update To the Beta Blogger-Search Problem

Give credit where credit is due.

The guys at Google Blogger and Search and the volunteers have finally isolated the problem

Cause they were really great so far I am posting the answer they gave so far:
Hi guys,

I'm back with an update. We've identified the bug that's causing certain blogs to not be indexed automatically by Blog Search. The problem seems to be caused by unusual characters in your blog (how unusual, huh?).

For example, for you twg, you have the following in your blog: "One author's musings about the world of writing, publishing, agents, books, & musing about the great what-if's of life, love, relationships, work, and the pursuit of happiness -what else is there?" The ampersand (&) here causes the problem because an ampersand has a special meaning in XML and HTML. In your case, Muser, you have Asian characters in your blog. chuckhov, you'll probably find something similar.

I apologize for this bug, and we're currently working on a fix that we hope to have out very soon - we're squashing the bug! I'll let you know when we have more updates for you, but I wanted to keep you in the loop of what's going on. Also, in the meantime, you can manually enter your blog URL into the Blog Search index by visiting the following site:

Thanks for your understanding,
Jordan
I will keep everyone informed as time goes on if this is fixed or not.
In the meantime if you want to stay informed here is the thread link again:

Very interesting. Programmers forced to think about people who use the full range of English and a bunch of other languages actually interface with the programming :).
